Joined the environment team late in the history of our internal project (Unannounced action game) and tasked with assisting with the reorganization of the environment pipeline, streamlining production processes, and defining best practices, enabling the team to work in the most effective way possible.

Worked with fellow producers and design colleagues developing tile set templates for modular building, established interdepartmental standards, and built final 3D art consisting of high-poly to low-poly modeling for normal map projections, texture painting, and final implementation.

Prepared construction briefs and guidelines for outsourcing resources. Additionally responsible for developing own final art content consisting of high poly-to-low poly 3D modeling, photo-realistic texturing, and overall aesthetic direction for environment art.

Responsible for overseeing environment concept artists and providing visual direction for final asset development within multiple level development teams. Additionally, implemented a new concept pipeline which drastically streamlined interdepartmental communication and facilitated the need for rapid feedback necessary for tight deadlines.

Trained fellow colleagues in defining best practices for environment construction. Additionally responsible for working with the Art Director in heightening visual standards.

Helped launch the studio’s first interactive game project, Global Agenda, an online multi-player interactive game developed for the PC.

Led the design and development team responsible for several interactive city and social environments, with specific contributions to the overall visual design, graphic design, map layout, lighting and environmental/architectural design.

Attracted public attention to Global Agenda through designing much of the product’s marketing materials for online and print media.

Co-developed the design and concept for Global Agenda’s Art and Time line Book included in the product’s Special Edition release.

Helped launch Spark’s first interactive game project, Call of Duty: Finest Hour (developed for the PS2, XBOX, and GameCube console systems). Primarily responsible for environment and map layout, modeling, material creation, and lighting.

Successfully took over and completed additional art development responsibilities for environment-related productions in jeopardy of missing outside deadlines and deliverable requirements. Strengths exemplified in lighting, spatial planning skills, project planning and pipeline development.

Planned and conceptualized initial map layouts, established aesthetic design, and provided art direction support through concept art and environment/regional research. Additionally responsible for the development of internal asset-management systems used to track production time and asset locations.

Developed production process which improved production standards involving over 50,000 images and overall resulting in image quality improvement of approximately 30%. Reviewed and managed color and quality control of all images produced.

Worked in conjunction with the Lead Photographer for the scheduling of product photography, serving as a liaison for interdepartmental requests; ensuring that client specifications were adhered to and all custom and standard graphic requirements for each project were properly scheduled.

Assisted in the planning, equipment purchases, and installment of two studio additions, resulting in doubling digital production’s capacity.
